Kaspersky Lab has released a new version of its popular antivirus software: Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Total Security and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2016. Among softwares features is improvement of the interaction with supported browsers - now they are using one extension instead of a few plugins. Also 2016 version features a redesigned graphical user interface and full support for new Windows 10.
One of the new benefits of Internet Security and Total Security is protection against data collection. When you enable this option, the program blocks the tracking and collection of information about your surfing history, settings and browser setting by websites. This information can be used to identify your preferences in order to offer certain products or services. It is noted that the software does not block the tracking of information in social networks.
Control module of changes in the operating system monitors and blocks changing of your home page or search provider in the browser, if it happened due to the installation of
the program you need. It often happens that the user can download and install the application and he does not pay attention and agrees to install one or more additional programs, some of which may be malicious. Such programs may affect not only browser settings, but the entire operating system.
Another new feature is a remote control via the My Kaspersky service. It is now possible to download remotely virus definition updates, perform a full or quick scan of the system, to obtain information about the protected device, as well as enable and disable components.
